The plus in CBD+ from Jacob Hooy indicates that as well as CBD there are also other cannabinoids, terpenes and natural flavours present. This Dutch brand adds these for important reasons. At Jacob Hooy they know that what is commonly called the entourage effect comes about because cannabinoids reinforce each other. Terpenes, the naturally present aromatics and flavours, refine the effect in turn. CBD Oil+ is therefore more than just CBD. It is important to state that there is no CBDa present in this oil any longer. This oil is heated during production. Consequently, with CBD Oil+ from Jacob Hooy we are not dealing with a Raw oil.

Using Jacob Hooy CBD Oil+ 5% with Vitamin D3

With CBD oil it is important to use the right dosage. What the right dosage exactly is, differs from person to person and also depends on the situation. Use this CBD oil by taking in 3 drops, one time per day. Later on, the dose can be slowly increased if desired. Taking in is best done under the tongue, so all beneficial substances are preserved so dosing is easy.

CBD Oil with Vitamin D3

We need vitamin D to allow numerous processes in our bodies to function normally. For example, vitamin D has an important role in the creation of strong bones and teeth. As we get older, our bodies also need this substance to maintain adequate calcium levels in our bones. Vitamin D also has a role in the normal functioning of the immune system, our muscles and cell division.

This vitamin is one which our body cannot itself make. We get it by going outside a lot. This is where our skin converts sunlight into vitamin D. We can also derive vitamin D from food. Vitamin D occurs in two variants, D2 (ergocalciferol) and D3 (cholecalciferol). Vitamin D2 has to be converted in our bodies into D3 before we can use it. For this reason, supplements with vitamin D2 often have a higher dosage than D3 supplements.

Often, though not always, vitamin D3 comes from animal sources. That is the case for this product.

Taking additional vitamin D in the form of supplements can support you when you don’t see much sunlight during the day. It’s advisable to keep an eye on your vitamin D intake when office working and especially in the darker months.

Ingredients

Hemp seed oil, hemp paste (leaf and flower), emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Contains approximately 500 mg CBD and 600 μg vitamin D3.

The scent so characteristic of the ridge-filled spice warehouse in Limmen revives memories of the days of the V.O.C., when the intrepid East Indiamen brave the oceans to fill their holds with oriental herbs and spices.

But it was also the time of the spice traders of the North Holland spirit lands who offered their goods for sale on the Amsterdam Nieuwmarkt.

And in the midst of those turbulent years, Jacob Hooy was born in November 1722 in the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat in Amsterdam. As the son of a “tug” he was the founder of what later became “Jacob Hooy & Co. since 1743 ”. And now, more than 270 years later, this name still stands for craftsmanship and quality.

At the age of 21, Jacob opened his first shop in dryers on the Barndesteeg and two years later he moved to the now well-known shop on the Kloveniersburgwal. Although the company has been owned by the Oldenboom family since 1846, the name Jacob Hooy has always been retained.

The Amsterdam canals with its stately warehouses of yesteryear are also still there, but the activity surrounding the loading and unloading of the herb ships is unfortunately past glory. But around the herbs, teas and spices of today, there is still the mystique of the strange and the aroma of the distant. And at the Limmen wholesaler you can still taste, from the raw jute bags and bales, the smell and taste that have been so characteristic of this hard-working family business over the centuries. The designation Royal Warrant was introduced in 1815 by King Willem I and, together with the designation royal (1806), is one of the oldest Royal decorations in our country. This designation gives Jacob Hooy the right to use the Royal Coat of Arms, with the addition “By Royal Purveyor to the Royal Household”.

Her Majesty the Queen has awarded this designation Royal Warrant to Jacob Hooy. Jacob Hooy was founded in 1743 and is therefore more than a hundred years old and the entrepreneurs are of impeccable behavior. Jacob Hooy is one of the 383 companies that can call themselves Royal Warrant Holder.
